Gillette Proglide. The creative looked at shaving through a gamer’s eyes.
The film looks like one continuous shot. But inside — dozens of layers. Motion control was used for the shoot — and to program it correctly and align expectations with the client, the entire film was built in 3D before cameras ever rolled. More than 200 identical camera moves, each time the actor in a different phase.
In post, all layers assembled together. Live demon actors replaced with CGI. Each demon — a separate shaving problem. The battle takes place in a temple built specifically for this fight — where even the columns are shaped like Gillette Proglide razors. Every detail means something.
The result speaks for itself.
